Even Mr Trump was perplexed when Fox News gave space to one of his harshest detractors. But Mr Sanders denounced the president as a “pathological liar” among other derogatory terms.
Mr Trump tweeted on Tuesday, “So weird to watch Crazy Bernie on @FoxNews,” in response to an unexpected storyline that irritated a devoted fan.

Ms Fiore stated that Mr Castro had been a mayor in a red state and that he “has always campaigned for every vote, Democrat and Republican.”
